Proximity to good restaurants i.e. "Sansone."
Prety expensive breakfast----13EU. Now wake up service. small screen tv.
Nice room and nice staff
The price for the breakfast is too expensive
The proximity to the airport. The style! The bountiful breakfast! The wonderful sheet in the room (in English) explaining about the bus and subway stops, the restaurants in the area, etc.
I couldn't figure out how to get from the airport to the hotel on public transportation. It was a 12 euro taxi ride.
Excellent location for access to U-bahn. Only 3 stops to esprit arena for futbol games. 15-20 minutes travel time. Kept us out of the city traffic and close to the arena. Kids loved the studio apt/room.
Staff vacated the desk and left a phone number. Would have appreciated a head-up that no one would be available
The staff were friendly. A train to the old town center was only a 5 minute walk from the hotel.
The hotel only has two parking spots. The rest is street parking and fills up fast. We were there during the weekend, but most spots seemed to be taken up by residents. I don't think the parking situation is any better during the week. The location is quite noisy with planes flying overhead early in the morning and local dogs barking through the night. The beds were uncomfortable and on a slight slant. I may have misread our reservation, but I thought we had a kitchenette. Only a few rooms have the full kitchenette. Ours (and our friends') only had a mini fridge.
Wifi is available in the rooms at the price of 5,50€/night, but the lady has been so kind to offer it free to compensate our porblem that we had to leave in the morning before breakfast time
Toilet rooms not particularly luxury
- the location - the size of the rooms - the politeness of the staff - the breakfast
+Nice breakfast with lots of variety +very good connection by U-bahn to downtown Dusseldorf +clean hotel
-The shower area lacked a curtain and a holding bracket for the shower head, making showering a challenge.
the boy at the reception on the night I arrived, very warm and nice
no telephone in the room, if reception unmanned you have to spend your own money calling a german telephone number, poor English, poor lighting in room, the radiators were not working despite being cold, tattered furniture, very old TV with remote control which did not work, and pieced together with a cello tape, shall I continue. super expensive for a poor experience.
